Why We Auction!

A note from our Head of School

In the whirlwind of the work of the auction committee, the staff, the board, and the students, I sometimes forget to talk about why the auction is so important. Why should you support our annual auction? The short answer is that you and our community are committed to excellence at our school. It isn't about things. It is about a compelling future for our school and our students.

As a result of record attendance in our Children’s House program over the last two years, we are now ready to expand our Elementary program.

In celebration of 40 years, we have an auction goal of raising $140,000 -- to open a new Lower Elementary classroom. This additional classroom will support our existing families and offer the opportunity to partner with more families in the Grand Rapids community seeking a high-fidelity Montessori education – preparing their children for life.

So, when you look around the school and see staff, parents, and students, know that each and every dollar you help raise and donate during the auction is helping our community to GROW, TOGETHER!
